Agricultural Exhibition in Kericho, Kenya

Agricultural products companies in Kericho on the twenty eighth day of the month of May 29, 2008, jointly held an agricultural exhibition at the Moi gardens in the town .the exhibition was aimed at educating the farmers, advising them and informing them about the latest developments in the sector. The event took only one day, starting from eight o’clock in the morning and ended at six o’clock the same day.

The company’s that took part in the exhibition included the, money maker pump company, syngenta , Kenya seed company among many others .The event didn’t get enough publicity however due to the short time that it took for the preparations .the public was only notified about the vent in only two days, many people didn’t hear about it. The organizers of the event should have taken enough time to prepare and inform the people; otherwise, the time that was used in the preparation s was too little for them to make any conclusions.

The organizers of the event deserve a lot of congratulations for what they did .It was a wise thought and they are a good example to the others in the future .The last time an event of this kind was organized in this town was years ago and it was done by the agricultural society of Kenya. Some one has to be doing something of this kind for the people from these kinds of places in this country .The A.S.K. agricultural shows were a great treasure for the people from this parts of our country.
