AMREF WILL BE FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE AIMED AT ADDING QUALITY TO LIFE IN KERICHO KENYA

It was disclosed by the Kericho district health technician when he was giving a speech to the youth of the Sikh N.S.P.S.I university and the Kericho youth center .He said that the funds were available for any groups that have been in existence for the past one year and have an active account that has been existing for the past one year. The application forms for the funds are available with the youth centers manger Mr.Simon Wahome in his office at the youth center at Bombay square, in Kericho town, Ministry of health, Ministry youth affairs, D.D.O and the AMREF offices opposite the tea hotel in kericho town .

The public health technician was speaking at the youth center where he and the other guest who were present expressed their full support for the exercise that the youth and of the center and the university students had carried out. They advised the participants on the importance of keeping the environment clean and further advised them to keep it up and to continue living like that for the rest of their lives. They carried out an environment cleaning exercise in the town jointly together with the residents of their neighborhood.

The youths jointly with their university students neighbors and the residents of their neighborhood, on the seventeenth date of the month of may the year two thousand and eight carried out the exercise with the garbage collection trucks that were sponsored by the municipal council of Kericho .The Coca Cola company sponsored them with the soft drinks that were used to entertain the participants after they had finished the exercise .The exercise took place from eight o’clock up to mid day.

The guest of honor was the Kericho district public health technician .the others who were present were the municipal public health technician and the leaders of other groups and organizations in the town.
