American Food الاغذيه الاميركية

I was talking with a friend from Australia on the telephone when she mentioned how strange she found American food to be. كنت اتكلم مع صديق من استراليا على الهاتف عندما ذكرت كيف الغريب انها وجدت لتكون الغذاء الاميركية. She had traveled quite extensively when she was younger, and came to the United States of America on many trips, often accompanied by her brother. وقالت انها سافرت باستفاضه عندما كانت اصغر سنا ، وجاء الى الولايات المتحدة الامريكية على كثير من الرحلات ، وكثيرا ما يكون مصحوبا شقيقها. Though neither of us could really put our finger on what type of food would be considered American, we did note some difference that you don’t find in many other parts of the world. رغم ان لا احد منا حقا يمكن وضع الاصبع على ما لدينا نوع من الاغذيه سيتم النظر الاميركية ، ونحن لم نلاحظ ان بعض الفرق لا تجده في كثير من اجزاء اخرى من العالم.

Sugar added everywhere وأضاف سكر في كل مكان

Her first concern about American food was the amount of sugar that we use in many things. قالت أن أول قلقها ازاء الغذاء الامريكية كانت كمية السكر التي نستخدمها في اشياء كثيرة. She said our peanut butter is overwhelming with the amount of added sugar, and it makes her ill. قالت لنا زبدة الفول السوداني ساحق مع كمية السكر المضافه ، وقالت انها تجعل المرض. They don’t add much to natural peanut butter where she shops, and she said that she noticed that American food other than that also has a lot of added sugar. انها لا تضيف الكثير الى زبدة الفول السوداني الطبيعيه حيث انها المتاجر ، وقالت انها لاحظت ان امريكا غير الغذاءيه ايضا ان لديه الكثير من السكر المضافه. We both agreed that there is really no reason that either of us can think of to add sugar to bread, but it is hard to find it here without that additive. واتفق كلانا على أن هناك حقا أي سبب أما آن لنا ما يمكن ان يخطر على السكر تضاف الى الخبز ، ولكن يصعب ان تجد هنا دون ان المواد المضافه الى الاغذيه. Sugar is everywhere, and most don’t realize how much they are actually eating each day. والسكر هو في كل مكان ، واكثرها لا يدركون كم انها في الحقيقة الاكل كل يوم.

So many choices هذا العدد الكبير من الاختيارات

She was also surprised about the choices you get when ordering American food in a restaurant. كما اعربت عن دهشتها ازاء الخيارات التي تحصل عند الطلب الامريكى الغذاء في مطعم. She was always used to a meal coming as described and was overwhelmed when her servers in various restaurants asked her what she wanted for sides. وقالت انها كانت تستخدم دائما لجبه القادمة كما وصفها وعندما كانت غارقه في خدمة بلدها في مختلف المطاعم وطلبوا منها ما ارادت لالجانبين. This is apparently uncommon as well. هذا هو ما يبدو من غير المألوف ايضا. You do get a lot of choices when you eat American food out in a restaurant, but those traveling from other countries are simply not used to that. كنت احصل على الكثير من الخيارات عندما كنت اكل اغذية امريكيه في أحد المطاعم ، ولكن تلك سفره من البلدان الاخرى هي بكل بساطة لم تتعود على ذلك. She thought that is was pretty amazing, and definitely a good quality about American eating. وقالت انها تعتقد ان هي كانت جميلة مدهشه ، وبالتأكيد الجيد الاميركية عن الاكل. Once she got over the shock of having so many choices, she was happy to mix and match her meals in a way she really never did at home. مرة واحدة قالت إنها حصلت على أكثر من صدمة وبعد ذلك العديد من الخيارات ، وقالت انها سعيدة لالمزيج والمباراة هي الوجبات في طريقه انها حقا مطلقا فعل في المنزل.

A real adventure مغامره حقيقية

My friend also mentioned that she found American food to be a lovely combination of ethnic foods from all over the world. صديقي كما ذكرت انها وجدت الاغذيه الاميركية الى ان تكون جميلة مزيج من الاعراق الاطعمه من جميع انحاء العالم. We have taken the charm of many menus and put our own twists on them. وقد اتخذنا العديد من سحر القوائم ووضع منطقتنا على اللفات لهم. That seems to be in a reflection of the diversity of our population. الذي يبدو انه في انعكاس للتنوع سكاننا. She said that though American food seems to be a mixture of foods from around the world, we definitely put our own touch to them. وقالت انه على الرغم من الاغذيه الاميركية يبدو ان خليط من اطعمة من جميع انحاء العالم ، واننا نحاول وضع منطقتنا أتطرق اليها. The dishes may not be from here, but we have made them our own. الصحون قد لا يكون من هنا ، ولكننا احرزنا منها منطقتنا. Eating in the United States, she says, was most definitely an adventure. الاكل في الولايات المتحدة ، كما تقول ، هو بالتأكيد اكثر مغامره.
