Chandigarh is a well- planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. تشانديجارف هو مخططة جيدا من مدينة حديثة الهند صممه المهندس المعماري الفرنسي لو كوربوزييه. It was constituted as a Union Territory on 1st November, 1966. كما انها تشكل احد اقاليم الاتحاد في الاول من نوفمبر 1966. It serves as the joint capital of both, Punjab and Haryana states. واصبح بمثابة برأسمال مشترك سواء ، والبنجاب وهاريانا الدول. Being the capital of two states, it has developed a fusion of culture incorporating the best from both states. يجري عاصمة للدولتين ، فقد طورت التحام الثقافة دمج افضل من كلتا الدولتين. This fusion is what makes Chandigarh an attractive tourist place. هذا الانصهار هو ما يجعل تشانديجارف مكان سياحي جذاب. This treasure should be on every visitor's “must see list” in India. هذا الكنز ينبغي على كل زائر لل"يجب ان انظر القائمة" في الهند.

This beautiful city also synonymous for 'City Of Roses' is divided into well-knit sectors. هذه المدينة الجميلة ايضا مرادف لل'مدينة الورود' ينقسم جيدا knit القطاعات. It has well-laid roads lined with rows of trees and beautifully planned buildings. وقد جيدا زرعت الطرق مبطنه مع صفوف من الاشجار والمباني الجميلة المخطط. The word ‘Chandigarh’ has a meaning attached to it. كلمة 'تشانديجارف' له معنى الملحقه به. While ‘Chandi’ is the name of Mother Goddess of power, the word 'garh' implies a fort. بينما 'chandi' هو اسم الام آلهة السلطة ، وكلمة 'garh' يعني فورت.

The best time to visit this place is October to March. أفضل وقت لزيارة هذا المكان تشرين الاول / اكتوبر الى مارس. During this period, the main attraction is the Festival of Gardens/ The Rose Festival. وخلال هذه الفترة ، هو الجذب الرئيسي للمهرجان حدائق / الورده المهرجان. This is a three-day celebration organized in the last week of February. هذا هو لمدة ثلاثة ايام الاحتفال الذي نظم في الاسبوع الاخير من شباط / فبراير. The festival includes flower shows, performances of music and dance; both classical and folk, events for children, exhibitions by local artists, photographers and craftsmen. ويشمل المهرجان زهرة يبين ، وعروض الموسيقى والرقص ؛ الكلاسيكي والشعبي على حد سواء ، من أجل الاطفال والاحداث ، ومعارض للفنانين المحليين ، ومصورين الحرفيين. Companies put stalls to exhibit their products. الشركات وضع أكشاك لعرض منتجاتها. Several competitions are also held during this festival. عدة مسابقات كما تعقد خلال هذا المهرجان.
Another very attractive feature of the city is The Chandigarh Carnival. آخر جذابة جدا سمة المدينة هي تشانديجارف الكرنفال.

This three-day carnival is celebrated in the second week of November every year. هذا لمدة ثلاثة ايام الكرنفال هو احتفلت في الأسبوع الثاني من تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر من كل عام. The carnival opens with a colorful procession followed by a number of competitions. الكرنفال يفتح مع ملون موكب يليه عدد من المسابقات. The carnival gives an opportunity for children as well as elders to exhibit their talents. الكرنفال يعطي فرصة للاطفال فضلا عن الكبار لعرض مواهبهم.
Chandigarh is as much cosmopolitan in nature as any other Indian town with numerous temples, mosques, shrines and bhawans located throughout the city. تشانديجارف هو قدر عالمي في الطبيعة مثل أي مدينة اخرى الهندية مع العديد من المعابد ، والمساجد والاضرحه وbhawans منتشرين فى جميع انحاء المدينة. The traditions followed in the city are a mixture of many traditions followed throughout the country. تقاليد المتبعه في المدينة هي مزيج من كثير من التقاليد اتباعها في جميع انحاء البلاد. One can see and participate in almost all of the religious activities of every religion in the country- Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam and Christianity. يمكن للمرء ان يرى وتشارك تقريبا في جميع الانشطه الدينية من كل دين في هذا البلد - والهندوسيه والسيخيه والاسلام والمسيحيه.

Within the city, one can find young and educated people. داخل المدينة ، يمكن للمرء ان يجد الشباب والمتعلمين. Most people can speak in English, Punjabi or Hindi or even a combination of all the three. معظم الناس تستطيع ان تتحدث باللغه الانجليزيه ، البنجابيه او الهندية او حتى الجمع بين كل ثلاثة. Chandigarh differs from many other cities of the region in that it has attracted people from throughout India. تشانديجارف يختلف عن كثير من المدن الاخرى في المنطقة انها قد جذبت الناس من جميع انحاء الهند. Most of the people in Chandigarh are service people. ومعظم الناس في تشانديجارف هي خدمة الشعب. Chandigarh has the distinction of having world acclaimed Rock Garden, adorned with artistic figures and things created by Shri Nek Chand. وقد تشانديجارف الفرق من العالم المشهود لها حديقة الصخرة ، وتزين الفني مع الارقام والاشياء التي اوجدتها شري nek chand.
