A student from West Indies say Trinidad can learn from the University of Sydney in Australia or Delhi University in India as easily as ever and obtain the same quantum of knowledge and Skills comparable to any Local student from these universities. وهو طالب من جزر الهند الغربية اقول ترينيداد التي يمكن ان نتعلمها من جامعة سيدني في استراليا او في جامعة دلهي في الهند بالسهوله من اي وقت مضى والحصول على نفس الكم من المعارف والمهارات المحلية مقارنة الى اي طالب من هذه الجامعات.

CLASS TEACHER and the DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM Faculty : الطبقة المعلم والتعلم من كلية البرنامج :
In normal Classroom education , teacher plays a great role in being a Catalyst in imparting knowledge beside being a ROLE MODEL in so many ways thus creating a lasting impression in he minds of the Students. في الصفوف الدراسيه في التعليم العادي ، والمعلم دورا كبيرا في كونه محفز في نقل المعرفه الى جانب كونها مثالا يحتذى في نواح عديدة جدا مما يخلق انطباعا دائما في عقول وقال انه من الطلاب.

Whereas in Distance Learning Programmes the roles of the Faculty members are needed differently . في حين ان برامج التعلم أدوار أعضاء هيئة التدريس اللازمة بشكل مختلف. This is actually a DIS AGGREGATION process or Unbundling the responsibilities of a Class Teacher . هذا هو في الواقع عملية التجميع ديس أو فض الترابط مسؤوليات فئة المعلمين.

Specifically this mode would increase student access through the construction of a broadband network modeled to the internet . تحديدا هذا الاسلوب من شأنه ان يزيد الطالب من خلال الوصول الى بناء محطة للشبكات عريضة النطاق على غرار شبكة الانترنت.

The Programme would be characterized by a SELF PACED STUDY instead of ACADEMIC CALENDARS , FIXED CLASS MEETINGS OR A TRADITIONAL CURRICULUM. البرنامج سيكون تميزت النفس الخطى دراسة الاكاديميه بدلا من التقاويم ، والثابت من الدرجة الاجتماعات او المناهج التقليديه.

Students would pursue their Software through New INSTRUTIONAL SOFTWARE That breaks down complex subjects in to individual components or modeules. الطلاب سوف تسعى الى تحقيق تنميتها من خلال برامج جديدة instrutional البرمجيات ان تنهار في الموضوعات المعقده الى العناصر الفرديه او modeules.

CONFLICTING VIEWS AND COLLISION OF IDEAS: الآراء المتضاربه وتصادم الافكار :

However it is believed that THIS IS NOT THE BEST ROUTE TO QUALITY . ومع ذلك فانه يعتقد ان هذا ليس هو الطريق الافضل لنوعية.
A number of Studies have demonstrated the importance to Student learning of establishing a feedback loop between Class room Teaching , عدد من الدراسات اظهرت اهمية التعلم من الطلاب الى اقامة حلقة تغذية مرتده بين الطبقة غرفة التدريس ،

Curriculum development , and Scholarly research. تطوير المناهج الدراسيه ، والبحوث العلميه. That loop becomes inoperative when teaching Faculty operate from workbooks based on a Pre designed Curriculum that the Faculty member has little role in developing , a curriculum that was not shaped directly by the practitioner’s experience in teaching these classes or conducting research on these subjects. ان حلقة يصبح عديم الاثر وعندما تعمل هيئة التدريس من المصنفات على اساس تصميم المناهج قبل ان عضوة هيئة التدريس في الكليه لا يملك الا القليل من دور في تطوير ، وهذا هو منهج لا تتشكل مباشرة من قبل الممارسين خبرة في تدريس هذه الفصول او اجراء البحوث حول هذه المواضيع.

Students deserve teachers who knew all the nuances of what they are teaching and who can exercise professional judgment and academic freedom in doing so. الطلاب والمعلمين الذين يستحقون عرفت كل ظلال ما هي عليه من التدريس والذين يستطيعون ممارسة حسن التقدير المهني ، والحرية الاكاديميه في القيام بذلك.

CLASS SIZE: الطبقة الحجم :
Good DE normally requires more Teacher preparation time than a traditional class as well as more time devoted to interacting with students ( through E mail , Chat room etc) حسن دي عادة يتطلب اعداد المعلمين اكثر من اي وقت الطبقة التقليديه فضلا عن توفير المزيد من الوقت المخصص للتفاعل مع الطلاب (من خلال البريد الالكتروني ، وغرف المحادثة ، الخ)
Therefore it is vital to maintain a workable class size . لذلك فانه امر حيوى للحفاظ على حجم الطبقة عملي.

The problem is commercially minded Distance Learning Programmes will expand class sizes too greatly in order to maximize ENROLLMENTS. المشكلة هي تجاريا الذهن برامج التعلم سوف توسع الطبقة احجام كبيرة جدا من اجل تحقيق اقصى قدر من التسجيلات.

CONCLUSION : خاتمة :
It is believed that Deep knowledge of a subject is NOT in passing a competency exam. ومن المعتقد ان المعرفه العميقه أ الموضوع ليس في اجتياز امتحان الكفاءه. It does require class room time ( be in Class room or cyber space) with Teachers and Other Classmates chewing over ideas , Hearing contrary points of view and defending conclusions. انها لا تحتاج الى وقت الطبقة الغرفة (الغرفة تكون في الدرجة او الفضاء السيبراني) مع المدرسين وغيرهم من زملاء مضغ اكثر من الافكار ، والاستماع الى وجهات نظر العكس والدفاع عن الاستنتاجات.
