Ghanashyam expired. Ghanashyam منتهيه الصلاحيه. He had a massive heart attack and did not give any scope to doctor for any treatment. وقال انه ضخم قلبية ولم يعط مجالا لطبيب لأية معاملة. In fact, he was brought dead in the nursing home. في الواقع ، واقتيد قتيلا في دور رعايه المسنين. It happened only a month back.Asim was not in his hometown during the event. انه حدث back.asim شهر واحد فقط لم يكن في مسقط راسه اثناء الحدث. He got the message from Chandan to come to his hometown as early as possible. وقال انه حصل على رسالة من chandan القدوم الى مسقط رأسه في اقرب وقت ممكن. Thus he did not waste any time. وهكذا فانه لا نضيع الوقت. Taking casual leave, he immediately left for his hometown in West Bengal by rail from his service center at Jaipur in Rajasthan. آخذ اجازة عارضة ، وقال انه غادر فورا لمسقط رأسه في غرب البنغال عن طريق السكك الحديديه من مركز خدمته في جايبور فى ولاية راجاستان. He was shocked to hear the news from Chandan. وقال انه صدم لسماع أخبار من chandan. It was unexpected and was a bolt from the blue! كان غير متوقع وكأن الترباس من الأزرق! How old he was! كيف كان عمرها! Hardly around forty-five years or so! بالكاد حوالى خمسة وأربعين عاما او نحو ذلك! In fact Asim did not know him earlier although he came to know from many people that Ghanashyam was a very good astrologer. في الواقع لم اكن ادري عاصم له في وقت سابق على الرغم من انه اتى الى معرفة كثير من الناس ان ghanashyam كانت جيدة جدا المنجم. His forecast about a number of people used to come mostly true. صاحب التنبؤات حول عدد من الناس كانت تأتي في الغالب صحيح. It seems, he was an expert to calculate accurately the effect and influence of different planets on each and every body’s life span. ويبدو ، وكان احد الخبراء لحساب دقيق اثر وتأثير الكواكب المختلفة على كل الجسم مدى الحياة. His predictions would reveal the effect as favorable for health and wealth for some and just the reverse for others. التنبؤات سوف تكشف له اثر ايجابي لكما الصحة والثروة لبعض وعكس ذلك تماما بالنسبة للاخرين. Ghanashyam was also a very good palmist. Ghanashyam كانت جيدة جدا ايضا قارىء الكف. At least he could convince people about their unknown future whenever they used to come to him for his advice. على الاقل انه يمكن اقناع الناس ازاء المستقبل المجهول كلما اعتادوا المجيء اليه لنصيحته. He would also suggest to hold a piece of stone, they say, to overcome the bad phase in one’s life or to prosper defeating evil’s influence. وقال انه اقترح ايضا عقد قطعة من الحجر ، ويقولون ، من اجل التغلب على مرحلة سيئة في حياة احد او لتزدهر هزيمة الشر نفوذ.

Asim used to laugh to hear such cock & bull stories but his friend Chandan used to argue in support of Ghanashyam’s profession and capabilities. عاصم المستخدمة لتضحك على سماع مثل هذه القصص الديك & الثور ولكن صديقه chandan المستخدمة ليجادل في دعم ghanashyam مهنته والقدرات.

One day Chandan took Asim to Ghanashyam. يوم واحد chandan احاطت عاصم الى ghanashyam. Asim found him as a pious looking gentleman wearing white loose shirt over brownish red colored cloth locally called ‘dhoti’. عاصم عثر عليه باعتباره تقي اتطلع شرفي يرتدي قميصا ابيض فضفاضة ذات لون أحمر ضارب الى السمرة اكثر من القماش يسمى محليا 'dhoti'. His eyes were bright, piercing and sharp. عيناه كانت مشرقة ، وثقب حاده. He looked calm and composed and used to speak slowly. وقال انه يتطلع الهدوء وتتألف وتستخدم اتكلم ببطء. Chandan introduced Asim and he said “ Very happy to meet you. Chandan عرض عاصم وقال "سعيد جدا لمقابلتك. May I know why you have come to me?” هل لي ان اعرف لماذا لقد اتيتم لي؟ "

Asim was little embarrassed and answered with fumbles “ Not exactly for any purpose, I have come to meet you because I heard many stories abut you…. عاصم كان قليلا واجاب احرجت مع يتحسس "ليس بالضبط لأي غرض ، ولقد اتيت لمقابلتك لأنني سمعت الكثير من القصص تتاخم لكم…. I mean, your forecast about others and their strong belief about your forecast!” Ghanashyam did not remark anything, he was unperturbed. يعني ، يا تنبئ عن الآخرين وايمانهم القوي حول التنبؤات الخاصة بك! "Ghanashyam ولم ملاحظه أي شيء ، وقال انه كان رابط الجأش. Asim continued “… and when I heard that you also advocate to hold some natural stone for overcoming evil’s influence or to prosper in one’s life, I became very curious…” عاصم تابع "… وعندما سمعت ان لك ايضا الدعوة الى عقد بعض الاحجار الطبيعيه من اجل التغلب على الشر او نفوذ لتزدهر في حياة أحد ، وأنني أصبحت غريبة جدا…"

Ghanashyam so long was silent but now he opened his mouth “Why curious? Ghanashyam طالما كان صامتا ولكن الان فتح فمه وقال انه "من الغريب لماذا؟ What is there to be curious? ما هو الغريب ان يكون هناك؟ Is it a new thing to you? هل من شيء جديد لكم؟ Our age old ancestors used to predict one’s future and used to advice to use natural stone. العصر القديم الجدود المستخدمة لاحد التنبؤ بمستقبل وتستخدم لتقديم المشوره الى استخدام الحجر الطبيعي. This belief and practice was common throughout the world… it was in Rome, was in Egypt, in Arabian countries, in Mesopotamia, in China and where and where not!” هذا المعتقد وممارسة شاءعه في جميع انحاء العالم… وكان في روما ، كان في مصر ، في البلدان العربية ، في بلاد ما بين النهرين ، في الصين وفيها وفيها لا! "

Asim said “ No, I am not raising any doubt over the practice of using natural stones…. عاصم قال : "لا ، انا لا اطرح اي شك على مدى ممارسة استخدام الاحجار الطبيعيه…. but as on today, in the present modern scientific world, do you not think that the belief of wearing such stones is prejudicial and has no reasons rather baseless!” ولكن على النحو اليوم ، في هذا العالم العلميه الحديثة ، الا تعتقد ان من المعتقد ارتداء هذه الاحجار هو ضار وليس له اسباب بالاحرى لا اساس لها "!

--- “ Baseless? --- "لا اساس لها؟ What you mean? ماذا يعني لك؟ Why it should be baseless? لماذا ينبغي ان يكون اساس لها؟ After all, everything…everything around this universe was once a single gaseous unit… millions of years before, all these planets and stars were evolved through and moved around with specific speed with specific axis… but after all, once they all were one… and if you think deeply…. بعد كل شيء ، كل شيء… كل شيء حول هذا الكون مرة واحدة الغازي وحده… قبل ملايين السنين ، كل هذه الكواكب والنجوم كانت تطورت من خلال وانتقلت مع محددة حول السرعه المحددة محور… ولكن على كل حال ، عندما كانت كل واحدة… اذا كنت تعتقد عميقا…. Life came and originated from such moving inanimate objects…” وجاء في الحياة نابعه من هذه أشياء جامدة تتحرك… "
Asim interrupted and said “OK you mean, the influence of those moving planets still retain the control over different life forms! عاصم توقف وقال "موافق قصدك ، وتأثير هذه الكواكب تتحرك ما زالت تحتفظ السيطرة على مختلف أشكال الحياة! Is it so, if I have understood properly?” فهل الأمر كذلك ، واذا كنت قد فهمت بشكل صحيح؟ "

---- “ Yes, if you think so! ---- "نعم ، إذا كنت أعتقد ذلك! As you know, these natural stones are nothing but the products of different rocks which were formed millions of years before from the molten magma”. وكما تعلمون ، هذه الاحجار الطبيعيه ليست سوى منتجات مختلفة من الصخور التي تشكلت قبل ملايين السنين من المنصهر الصخور المنصهره ".
Asim could understand that the man has basic knowledge in geological science. عاصم يمكن أن نفهم ان الرجل قد المعارف الاساسية فى العلوم الجيولوجيه. However he did not have any desire to discuss on such topics. ولكن لم تكن لديه اي رغبة لمناقشة مثل هذه المواضيع. Thus he changed the discussion and asked “ Sir, please don’t mind, may I ask you one question?” وهكذا فانه تم تغيير المناقشه وتساءل : "سيدي ، يرجى عدم اعتبارها ، هل لي ان اسألك سؤال واحد؟"

Ghanashyam replied quickly “ Yes, no problem”. Ghanashyam أجاب بسرعة : "نعم ، لا مشكلة".

--- “ Where from you get these stones? --- "من اين لك هذه الاحجار؟ Someone may be supplying you because none of these stones used in astrological purposes, are available in West Bengal! شخص ما قد يكون امداد لكم لان ايا من هذه الاحجار تستخدم في أغراض فلكيه ، وتتوفر في البنغال الغربية! Why West Bengal, they are not available even in India!” ولاية غرب البنغال ، وهي ليست متاحة حتى في الهند! "

To this Ghanashyam stared at Asim and said, “ Like any other place, people engaged in this profession supply the stones to me also”. لهذا ghanashyam stared في عاصم ، وقال : "مثل اي مكان آخر ، والاشخاص الذين يعملون في هذه المهنة وتوريد الاحجار لي أيضا". He stopped for a while and again started “…Yes, you are right. وتوقف لبعض الوقت ، وبدأت مرة اخرى "… نعم ، انتم على حق. These stones are mostly from Sri Lanka, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, Madagascar, Japan, Venezuela, Mexico, Columbia, Russia and many other countries but Jaipur in Rajasthan is one of the biggest centers for cutting & polishing the raw stones for trade. هذه الاحجار واغلبهم من سري لانكا ، والبرازيل ، وتايلند ، فيتنام ، مدغشقر ، اليابان ، فنزويلا ، المكسيك ، كولومبيا ، روسيا وبلدان اخرى كثيرة ولكن جايبور في راجستان واحدة من اكبر مراكز لقطع & تلميع الاحجار الخام من أجل التجارة. And we get those polished stones of specific shape, size and weight through agent… they come and supply us the material depending upon our requirement..” وحصلنا على تلك الحجارة polished محددة الشكل والحجم والوزن من خلال الوكيل… وهم يأتون الينا وتوريد المواد تبعا لدينا شرط.. "
Chandan got the point and hurriedly told “ Ghanashyamda, I have forgotten to tell you one thing. Chandan حصل على نقطة وبعجاله ل "ghanashyamda ، لقد نسيت ان اقول لكم شيئا واحدا. Actually Asim is posted at Jaipur only! فعلا عاصم منشورة في جايبور فقط! He is a geologist there and knows many people there at Jaipur connected to this trade. وهو جيولوجي هناك ويعرف كثير من الناس هناك في جايبور ترتبط هذه التجارة.

Asim added, “ Yes, I know some jewelry dealer; they often come to us for information about occurrences of precious stones. عاصم واضاف : "نعم ، أنا أعرف بعض تاجر مجوهرات ؛ غالبا ما يأتون الينا للحصول على معلومات حول الحوادث من الاحجار الكريمه. They deploy personnel who pay sudden visit in our field camp even! انهم نشر الافراد الذين يدفعون زيارة مفاجئة في مجالنا المخيم حتى! As you know, Rajas than is interesting place for hard rock of geological age”. وكما تعلمون ، rajas مما هي مكان للاهتمام الصخور الصلبه من العمر الجيولوجي ".
Ghanashyam told, “ Yes, that is true! Ghanashyam قال : "نعم ، هذا صحيح! Rajasthan is full of hills and deserts…. راجستان مليء التلال والصحارى…. are you engaged there in search of minerals only? هل انت تشارك هناك بحثا عن المعادن فقط؟ Then, have you not come across any such mineral deposits like emerald, cats eye, zircon, diamond or any other valuables?” ثم ، ألم تأتي عبر اي من هذه الرواسب المعدنية مثل الزمرد ، القطط العين ، الزركون ، اي الماس او غيرها من الاشياء الثمينه؟ "

Asim replied “ … Actually our primary job is to locate huge deposits of copper, lead, zinc etc for industrial purpose…. عاصم اجاب "… فعلا اهتمامنا الرئيسي هو العمل على العثور على رواسب هاءله من النحاس والرصاص والزنك والصناعية لغرض الخ…. You are talking about precious to semi precious minerals… in fact; these are all our secondary looks out! انت تتحدث عن لشبه الثمينه المعادن الثمينه… في الحقيقة ؛ وهذه كلها تبدو لنا الثانويه! …. Yet, sometimes we do get occurrences of those minerals… like the one that we have brought to you….”. ومع ذلك ، احيانا نقوم به للحصول حوادث تلك المعادن… كالذي ان نحقق لكم…. ".

Ghanashyam stared at him and asked, “ Where it is?” Ghanashyam stared اليه وسأل : "اين هو؟"

Asim took out a sample wrapped in paper from within a cloth bag. عاصم احاطت بها عينة ملفوفه في ورقة من داخل كيس من القماش. He opened the sample and displayed in front of his eyes. وقال انه فتح عينه وعرضها امام عينيه. All were silent; the stone was a big chunks about 250 gms in weight! كانوا جميعا صامتين ؛ الحجر كان كبيرا قطع حوالى 250 GMS في الوزن! It was a big crystal, semi transparent and green in color with adamantine luster! وكان كبير الكريستال ، وشبه شفافة اللون الأخضر في اللمعان مع الاسمنت المسلح! Asim told, “ Can you identify it? عاصم قال ، "هل يمكنك التعرف عليه؟ What you guess, it could be! ما لكم التخمين ، ويمكن ان يكون! This crystal of course, is highly fractured and therefore when properly washed and processed, the crystal would give rise thousands of grains and each grain would weigh about 2 to 3 gms”. هذا الكريستال بالطبع ، هو غاية مكسور وبالتالي عندما سليم غسلها وتجهيزها ، الكريستال سيؤدي الى نشوء الالاف من الحبوب كل الحبوب وسوف يزن حوالى 2 الى 3 GMS ".

Ghanashyam was deeply engrossed in observing the sample; meanwhile he took it and tried to feel! Ghanashyam كان عميقا منسوخ في الاحتفال عينه ؛ وفى الوقت نفسه قال انه يفهم وحاول ان تشعر! It appeared, he did not give any attention to Asim. ويبدو ، وقال انه لم يعط اهتماما لعاصم. His eyes were full of astonishment and disbelief. كانت عيناه الكامل من الدهشه وعدم التصديق. He was murmuring and whispered, “ Is it not emerald! كان التذمر ومهموس ، "اليس من الزمرد! Same color, same luster, same transparency…” اللون نفسه ، نفس اللمعان ، والشفافيه ذاتها… "

Asim replied with serious tone “ If you like this specimen I can hand over to you but then you have to give me five hundred grains cut and polished out of this, in return… you have to get it done through your agent who supplies your requirement….” اجاب عاصم مع نغمة خطيرة "اذا كان لديك مثل هذا النموذج يمكنني ان اسلم للكم ولكن بعد ذلك عليك ان تعطيني خمسماءه الحبوب وقطع polished وانطلاقا من هذا ، في العودة… عليك ان تحصل عليه وذلك من خلال الوكيل الخاص بك من لوازم الشرط الخاص بك …. "

Ghanashyam thought for a while and quickly measured the weight of the sample in his electronic balance. Ghanashyam التفكير لبعض الوقت وسرعان ما يقاس وزن العينه في بلدة الالكترونيه التوازن. Turning his face towards Asim he said, “ What should be the size and shape of the grains?” وانتقلت وجهه نحو عاصم قال : "ما ينبغي ان يكون حجم وشكل الحبوب؟"

Asim replied “ It should be globular or spheroid or even elliptical with a small thread hole in each grain. عاصم اجاب "ينبغي ان يكون كروي او الجسم الشبه الكروي او حتى الاهليلجيه مع الخيط ثقب صغير في كل الحبوب. In simple those beads will be used in a garland… and rest of the grains will be yours from which you can meet the labor charges and your profit…” بسيطة في تلك الخرزات ستستخدم في الطوق… وبقية الحبوب سيكون لك منها تستطيع تلبية رسوم العمل والربح الخاص بك… "

Ghanashyam told, “ Do you know how much price of the sample would be?” Ghanashyam قال ، "هل تعرف كم سعر العينه سيكون؟"
Asim replied “ Not exactly! عاصم اجاب "ليس بالضبط! But it is sure that it cannot be made public. ولكن من المؤكد انه لا يمكن ان يكون علنيا. Range may be very high! مجموعة قد تكون مرتفعة للغاية! At least in case of a big crystal of emerald, if pure without any impurities and unaltered the price would be no less than fifty lacks…and that is the reason that I am not making any deal and hue and cry with any company! على الاقل في حالة كبيرة من الكريستال الزمرد ، واذا نقيه بدون اي شوائب وبدون تعديل السعر سيكون ما لا يقل عن الدورة يفتقر… وهذا هو السبب في أنني لم تقدم اي والشكل والتعامل مع اي شركة البكاء! Who knows what will happen! من يدري ماذا سيحدث! I want you to do the job as secret as possible”. اريدكم لاداء هذه المهمة على النحو سرية قدر الامكان ".

Ghanashyam said, “ It is alright but time consuming. Ghanashyam قال : "انه امر حسنا ولكن تستغرق وقتا طويلا. You may have to wait for long, may be six to seven months to complete the deals! قد تضطر الى الانتظار لمدة طويلة ، قد يكون ستة الى سبعة أشهر لانجاز صفقات! The agent is expected to come next month any time. الوكيل يتوقع ان يأتي في اي وقت خلال الشهر القادم. I will talk with him and hand over the sample, if you agree.” سأتكلم معه وتسليم العينه ، واذا وافقتم. "

Asim told, “ No; initially you may give a portion of the sample. عاصم قال ، "لا ، في البداية كنت قد يعطى جزء من العينه. I will not be here, however Chandan will monitor and meanwhile you may keep the sample in your safe custody”. لن أكون هنا ، ولكن chandan وسيرصد هذه الاثناء كنت قد يبقى في العينه الخاصة بك الحراسه الامنه ".

Ghanashyam agreed and then Asim and Chandan left the place. Ghanashyam المتفق عليها وعاصم وchandan ثم غادر المكان. While returning Chandan asked Asim “…Is it that much costly? بينما تعود chandan سأل عاصم "… هل ان كلفة بكثير؟ You could have done the job at Jaipur only! يمكنك ان تحصل على وظيفة في سلك جايبور فقط! Why you have decided here and why you have given the entire sample to him!” لماذا قررتم هنا وماذا قدمتموه هنيعلا له! "

Asim laughed and replied, “ I can guarantee, there will be no foul play. عاصم ضحك وأجاب : "يمكنني ضمان ، لن يكون هناك أي خطأ تقوم به. More over, the actual identification of the mineral is not confirmed. على مدى اكثر ، فعليه تحديد المعادن غير مؤكدة. It has similar physical properties of emerald but its hardness is comparatively little less, of course when compared with pure & unaltered crystal. وقد مماثلة في الخصائص الفيزياءيه الزمرد ولكن قسوه هي اقل قليلا نسبيا ، وبطبيعة الحال اذا ما قورنت مع البحته و دون تحوير الكريستال. As you know the sample is highly fractured! وكما تعلمون ان العينه عالية مكسور! There is every chance that it may be a green variety of tourmaline, which is semi precious and less costly! هناك كل فرصة أنه قد يكون خضراء متنوعة من tourmaline ، وهو شبه الثمينه واقل تكلفة! What ever, smaller grains when cut and polished, will appear like emerald only. ما من اي وقت مضى ، عندما قطع اصغر الحبوب وpolished ، سيظهر مثل الزمرد فقط. It is up to Ghanashyam whether to use them as emerald or not. والامر متروك لghanashyam سواء لاستخدامها ام لا الزمرد. It would not be safe to contact directly with any buyer at Jaipur”. انها لن تكون آمنة على اتصال مباشر مع اي مشتر في جايبور ".

Asim returned Jaipur with an understanding that Chandan would monitor the rest of the job. عاد عاصم جايبور مع فهم ان chandan ستراقب بقية المهمة. He will be in touch with Ghanashyam and if possible the agent to whom the job would be entrusted. وقال انه سيكون على اتصال مع ghanashyam واذا امكن الوكيل الذي عمل ستوكل اليها مهمة. Sudden death of Ghanashyam was not however, under calculation! الوفاه المفاجءه للghanashyam لم يكن ولكن تحت الحساب! The astrologer himself did not know his own fate! المنجم نفسه لم يكن يعلم مصير بلده! Chandan sent a message to Asim to come at the earliest. Chandan بعث برساله الى عاصم قادمة فى اقرب الآجال. He came and heard the news of Ghanashyam’s death. وقال انه جاء وسمع خبر وفاة ghanashyam. Chandan informed that in his presence, the sample was handed over to one Mr.Prasad, the agent from Jaipur. Chandan علم ان في حضوره ، العينه تم تسليمه الى احد mr.prasad ، الوكيل من جايبور. Asim knew that Prasad could never be traced! عاصم يعلم ان براساد يمكن ابدا ان تعود!
