It's quite an irony that clothes that were meant to cover nakedness is the very thing that exposes it. From fashion shows to beaches, schools and even churches which are meant to be the sacred house of the Lord are not spared these indecent show of nudity. I don't mean to sound like a cynic but what isn't good is surely bad. Quite alarming are the increasing cases of rape and teenage pregnancies that one can't just sit tight folding one's arms and do nothing, a wise man said, 'The only time evil thrives is when good men keep quiet'. Right from the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were chased out, God made coats of animal skin to cover their nakedness which means God held them in high esteem as to make coats for them to cover their bodies though they were being banished from the garden but today rather than clothes covering they are even exposing the body, the million dollar question is why buy clothes that are opposite of the purpose it was meant for, why buy a pill that will give you more pain than relieve you of it.
A wise man said 'The you are dressed is the way you will be adressed'. The way a person dresses shows a great deal about the person's personality. When you are dressed like a harlot, you'll be addressed like a harlot, when you dress like a crook you'll be looked at and referred to as a crook. There is nothing about being trendy and decent as many think that to dress decently is to be old fashioned, nothing could be further from the truth because good dressing is the hallmark of decency. Let us a people come together crack the indecent dress code because the cub we don't tame today is the lion that we would have to pick up arms against tomorrow.
Let parents especially mothers be careful because most times the mothers go shopping with their girls and pick out these indecent clothes for them or they do nothing while they pick them up and they at the end of the day pay for such indecent dresses.
People now not tomorrow is the time to crack this indecent dress code because like the mission statement of DHL 'every second counts'.
