IN SEARCH OF PEACE IN KERICHO KENYA

An American organization called the part track for peace and reconciliation on Tuesday ,the eighteenth day of the month of may the year two thousand and eight held a public meeting at the Uhuru gardens park in Kericho town The meeting was aimed at catalyzing the peace processes in the country and to attract the attention of Residents of this town and the whole country in general towards the issue .The organization received quite a good following from the youth of this town and they all joined forces in the slogan “vijana na amani milele.”-Which means the youth and peace forever. .

The organizations leaders then led the crowds on to a demonstration on the streets of the town. The youths were very much against the current trends of things in the Kenyan politics and they shouted and cursed with leaves in their hands as they marched round the town. They went round the whole town then went back to the Uhuru gardens park. Kerichos’ top comedians entertained the people.

The organization said that it planned to do the same in all the towns in the rift valley province in their campaign for peace and reconciliation in our beloved country Kenya .When they finished their activities in the town ,they headed towards Kisii town where they were expected to hold another meeting of the same kind
