“I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude that the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?” This was an anonymous quote. But it delivers the essence of the matter that underneath.
It’s The Journey, not the destination, which really matters. The way a child explores, gives us a clue that if we really knew the end result of our adventure we wouldn’t set out on it in the first place.
It’s the passage of time and the life long journey that enables one to do deeds. Destination is written, we get what we deserve but it’s the path that we choose that makes our destination final.
Destination matters, but what’s more important is the journey that leads us to it. Take an example of a child who is told to color within the outlines of an apple. Its upto the child with which color he colors it, how carefully he colors it, what he learns while coloring it and the satisfaction he feels after his task. His accomplishment depends only on his coloring abilities rather than anything else.
A Journey teaches one many folds of life, be it a vacation trip to Hawaii or the life’s journey. Its twists and turns, the winding roads and the experiences within are what make life worth living.
