NARROWLLY ESCAPES DEATH BY MOB JUSTICE IN KERICHO KENYA

One hand cart pusher in Kericho town narrowly escaped death by mob justice after he divided a load of potatoes that he had been given to move to a place and then he went and sold some .The man moved the load in the absence of the owner but when the owner reached the destination where she had directed the hand cart pusher to go and put the load ,she discovered that the potatoes weren’t the way she had left them when she gave them to the hand cart pusher to trans[port them for her .The owner of the load then went to search of the hand cart pusher .She found him at the Kericho town Bp petrol station .

When she set her eyes upon him ,she sounded the alarm and attracted the attention of the public who quickly surrounded the man and started threatening the man .They threatened to kill him if he didn’t disclose where he had taken the potatoes that he had taken from the load that he had been contracted to carry .The man tried to be cunning but when the threats got severe and it looked like they could even burn him with old vehicle tires ,he accepted everything and went and showed the public the woman whom he had sold the potatoes to .He was lucky that the woman was merciful otherwise the public had wanted to burn him alive with used vehicle tires but when he accepted to show them where the potatoes were ,she decided to let him live and have his freedom .

The incident took place at the Kericho town Bp petrol station on the tenth day of the month of May the year two thousand and eight at around eleven o’clock in the morning
