Who ever said man is free
I used to simply agree
Seeing around, reading history
Now I totally disagree
In the era of kings and queens
There were pre-decided sins
Who ever broke the sacred rules
Were left to mercy of laws and chains
They were made slaves
They carried huge iron chains
They were made to sit for hours
On thorny and cold chairs
I am working in information industry
And I see there is no difference
One chair, one desktop
And you stay there for hours
Lines of those sophisticated slaves
Listening to tunes with classy earphones
Flashy clothes and modern gadgets
Yet the slavery prevails
No more outing in the sun and moon
No happy interaction in crowd
Its all about blogs, smses, scraps
And messengers to keep connected
No more personal touch
Everything now ‘template’ based
You needn’t see the people
And still stay updated
What a life we made for ourselves
Now its all computerized
All work, all jazz, all the style
For a paltry work, off shored
This is a new breed of slaves
Although now they live flashy life
Where all the glitter will go?
If the lender gets a cheaper slave
