In so long as you live, nature will in one way or another drives you to relating with others. For it is because life with no relationship becomes empty and meaningless. When we relate with others, we mean to getting in touch with them.
However, we must learn to relate well to SELF first, OTHERS and then GOD. Our good relationship with others may likely direct us to loving them. Love is greatest. It is divine power and healing element in any relationship.
Those who do not relate and love well are pathetic, insensitive, hostile, bitter, in-compassionate. Such relationship can never transmit God's energy of peace and joy to others. consequently, when relationship is distorted, we are robbed of the divine energy. In real we ought to relate well , with life that prevents destructive tenderness it creates. Good relationship will always promote growth, both physical and internal, it will obviously generate life and heals all the wounds in it.
A mature person, one who relate with love, knows what he or she is carrying along with self within the circle of relationship.
The following are types of relationships:
1. Functional. This relationship is between a subject and an object, between a superior and a inferior. For example a relationship between a doctor and a patient.
2. Casual. A relationship that is meant for a short time. Like when people meet in seminars, aircrafts, buses, trains, workshops and so on.
3. Eros: This relationship operates between two people like a man and a woman. This relationship may end up in sexual relationship.
4. Agape: A relationship for all people by God. This type of relationship, is pure and perfect, because God does not choose who to Love but instead he do Love all of us with same Love
