Uri Geller
Uri Geller
Jonathan Margolis
Uri geller is a phenomenon which defies logic and reason. His feats are accepted by some renowned scientists and scoffed at by many more. Yes, anything that cannot be explained by our limited knowledge is either admired and feared or despised. How does one explain the inexplicable? All sages have emphasized this viewpoint: If THAT phenomenon could be described, in any language that we know, then IT ceases to be what IT is. The best way to benefit is by welcoming IT into our lives.
This introduction is necessary because Uri Geller is part of that phenomenon.
Homo sapiens----homo Geller—that was how Uri Geller was introduced to his superiors by a tutor at the London School of Economics. The tutor had watched a BBC programme on the Israeli, .
He had apparent abilities to bend metal, and to read other r people’s thoughts. Russell who made the movie Mindbender was asked whether Geller was genuine. : Only god knows and He is not telling was his response.
Geller’s message is that everyone has paranormal powers.
Geller’s earliest memory is that he had a Aladdin’s lamp and the genie would bring him whatever he desired.
Do we believe what we see? Or do we see what we believe? If people say Uri Geller is a magician, they have simply failed toread the published scientific evidence, observed J.B.Hasted, physicist of the university of London. And Sir David Frost who interviewed him remarked: Uri does not aspire to be an exclusionary icon—his is an enabling talent.
Are we with the believers or the skeptics? It is an open-ended question whose answer the individual should contemplate.
